Supporting Group & District Executives

Some information on some new training and support for Group and District Executive members that the District will be providing.

From their first AGM after 1 January 2016 all Executive Committee members are required to complete Module 1E Essential Information for Executive Members if they have not already completed Module 1 Essential Information. Module 1E can be e-learning and is part of the Adult Training Scheme and Module Matrix.

To meet this new need, across the District, a one day workshop will be available to Executive Committee members.

The workshop will cover the following elements:

  • An Introduction
  • Effective Executive Committees
  • Finance for all Executive Committee Members
  • Officers of the Executive Committee
  • Recruitment and Induction of Executive Committee Members
  • Safeguarding – Extracts from Module 1E

Attendance at the one day workshop will remove the need to complete Module 1E, but not Module 1.

All dates are available on our Adult Training page and a free lunch will be provided at all sessions.
