There were various stalls set up in Allott Hall including a sweet stall, a jewellery stall and a candle stall, along with many others. There was even a Princess Rapunzel who was offering pamper packages to girls so they can be just like Mum. The little girls loved having a princess there!
Outside there were various inflatable’s for the young people to enjoy and there was also a raffle held with some fantastic prizes which were all donated to the group.
The fete really heated up when two fire engines from Orsett popped came down and the young people had the chance to sit inside them and turning on the sirens and lights. The firefighters were great with the young people and were more than happy to answer questions.
Karon Vann, Assistant Beaver Leader at 2nd Stanford-le-Hope said it was a great day, “The whole event was a huge success, it went very smoothly and over £500 was raised for the group. Several stallholders asked if there would be another one and to let them know as they would like to come back!“
Special thanks have to go to the Leaders and helpers who helped with the event and to St John’s Ambulance who provided First Aid support for the day.
